I confess that I am a complete product junkie.  Whether at the drug store or the beauty supply, I am always checking out the latest and greatest, even buying many along the way.  Unfortunately, this has resulted in a collection of discarded products that live in the void under the sink, only to be seen when I come across them, wondering why they ended up in said void, but knowing that there they will remain, because I have most likely spent too much money to simply throw them out.

So you can imagine how excited I was to be chosen to try and review Kronos Phyx.  I had heard good things about it at TIA and other sites and wanted to try it, but could not get past the price tag.  My one fear was that it would work wonders on my long, wavy, color-treated fine hair, and I would then have to buy it and hide the receipts from my husband.  Alas, that fear was not realized.

The small bottle I received was good for four applications.  The product absorbed quickly into the hair and left no residue on the pillow.  I did notice that my hair had a slick feel even after shampooing, and that my hair was more manageable and healthier looking immediately after using the product.  But that did not last until the next use.  On the days in between use, my hair went right back to being unruly and dry.  I used it twice a week for two weeks, hoping the affects would be cumulative, but that wasn’t the case.  And it’s way too pricy to be a daily treatment.

So my search for the perfect head of hair continues.  But at least I won’t have to sneak this hair “Phyx” behind my husband’s back.

I've really wanted to try the Kronos Phyx Overnight Repair Mask for a year now, but was put off by the $105 price. I can give it a go now at 50% off ($52). The entire Krono’s entire line is 50% off at

I would have to agree with you Tammara. I purchased the Kronos Phyx as part of a set from an internet company. After the first application, I thought it was the new HG for my fine bleached blonde tresses. I too followed the instructions and used it a couple of times a week since I noticed no marked difference from one use till the next. No, the effects are not cumulative, no it does not make my hair feel thicker...maybe in better condition but, I can get a good conditioner for much less than $105.00 a bottle.
