I received this little gem in the mail on my 45th birthday and thought this was definitely a sign from above that this is what I needed to help me through the “oh, I look & feel so old” blues. Turning 45 is enough for any girl to bear without seeing it in her face!!!

I massaged the lovely cool La Vie Celeste Restorative Exfoliating Gel Mask ($60 in the shop) onto my face and neck that night and waited with the anticipation of a giddy teenage girl (it was my birthday, I can feel like a teenager if I want) for the results.  I allowed the gel to sit on my face for about 5-10 minutes. During that time I could feel a tightening effect on my face along with some stinging (nothing unbearable), so in my mind, that meant everything was working and the results were going to be fabulous! (I always try to look at the sunnier side of life when I can).  After the 10 min. wait I washed my face & neck with some cool water and the mask came off with very little effort. After that first try, I was hooked! My face and neck felt so refreshed it was as if a little of my “oh, I look & feel so old” blues were disappearing!! My neck felt soft and firm and my face had that California beach girl glow!!

I have been using the mask now for roughly six weeks, 2-3 times per week and I really think it has helped my skin look refreshed and perky! So, I think I will continue to use this product on a weekly basis, and as I know it won’t turn me into a giddy teenage California girl named Gidget, it might make me feel that way from time to time when I look in the mirror!!

Guess what?? My sign from above was right!! (love it when that happens!) This was the pick me up I needed or I should say, my skin needed!

This winter has been more than rough. I've been using the glycolic on my face naturally, but also on my knee and foot that seem to get really dried out from all the indoor heat. More than amazed at the results so far and it's only been 4 days..obviously I like to experiment with products.

I decided to get the trial size of the mask, facial cream and eye cream... love them AND they do not create chaos on my super sensitive skin!

It looks like the mask I referred to as the LVC Glycolic is in face the LVC Restorative Exfoliating Gel Mask- see what happens when you try to answer your own question using the Internet? In this instance, I had extra help due to the link to the mask in the TIA store from this article.

Is this mask different from the LVC glycolic? I've been using the travel sized sample of the LVC Glycolic and I LOVE it.

Lori, my skin is sensitive and has occasional break outs. The La vie Celeste Glycolic mask worked perfectly for me.

Thanks for the review, this sounds like something I'd like to try. Is your skin sensitive to new products or prone to break-outs? Mine is, so I am often hesitant to invest in a product only to discover I can't use it. I wish more companies offered sample sizes!
