I just finished sampling the LATHER Toning Eye Gel With Vitamin K ($28). I was pretty excited when I found out I was chosen to sample this particular product. I always have my eyes open and ears perked when it comes to products for the oh-so-delicate eye area. I don’t have any deep-set wrinkles at my age of 29, just a few faint ones. My issue with my eyes are the dark circles and occasional puffiness that occurs when I don’t have adequate sleep (which is exactly what this product is geared toward: tired puffy eyes).

The ingredients in the LATHER Toning Eye Gel are vitamin K, niacin, extracts of royal jelly, aloe, spirulina, green tea, and fennel oil. It is also paraben free. It sounded amazing to me! I love the antioxidants that spirulina and green tea provide and thought that, when in conjunction with the other natural ingredients, they could provide great benefits to the skin. However, I must admit, I was disappointed. This product received a beauty award from The Knot, so I had hoped to notice some noticeable effects, but nope. I used the product continuously morning and night for the entire month-long trial. One positive attribute of the toning gel that did win me over was its texture; it absorbed into my skin quickly and gave it a nice refreshing cooling feeling. Though even with this in its favor, I still wouldn’t recommend this product. It isn’t worth the purchase.
