Lisa- my facial regimen

So, I often struggle with the temptation of buying products that promise to cure my most recent skin care dilemma…I think there are probably a lot of us out there.  However, with a husband, two kids, a house, etc., my budget does not always allow for that purchase.  To that end, I make use of samples I have on hand and full-size products to comprise my routine.  Keep in mind, I have been on an organic chemical-free kick for a few years so I try to stay true to that criteria as much as possible.

My nightly routine consists of first removing my eye makeup. To accomplish that, or mostly that as there always seems to be some still there, I use Organic wear 100% Natural Origin Eye Makeup Remover Pads. I love the natural fragrance and the fact that it is cruelty-free, hypoallergenic and 100% free of harsh chemicals,  synthetic preservatives, parabens, GMO's,  synthetic colors, synthetic fragrances.  It performs well however there are mornings where I find the “dreaded black smudges” under my eyes however this could be attributed to my laziness or possibly the product.

Then I follow that up with one of the following cleansers depending on my skin’s needs: Skin Perfection’s Clear Skin Cleanser with 10% Glycolic Acid (for days when my skins feels clogged and breakouts are near) and Nutra-Lift’s Herbal Non-Soap Cleanser (for days when I need a good clean but also want to pamper at the same time).  It’s at this time I may feel the need to throw in a scrub (using YBF’s Prep sample, now).  After cleansing and/or scrubbing, I follow with a toner: Skin Perfection’s Clarifying Toner.  Then, I head straight for Skin Perfection’s  Eye Bright or Derma Radiant’s Ageless Eyes and then YBF’s Concentrate followed by a slathering of YBF’s Boost.

My morning routine is less involved (and must be considering my desire to sleep as long as possible before I get ready for work as well as do what I need to do for my family each morning) but includes some of my nighttime favorites.  I rinse my face in the shower (water only) and once I am out of the shower I first apply my Correct or Ageless Eyes.  Then an application of YBF Concentrate and YBF Boost. After the final step of Osmotics Inner Light, I am makeup ready!

I also use skin perfections cleanser, toner and eye bright - they alternate with some other ones. Looking forward to hearing about new products from that line.

You gals are so wonderful! Thank you! Junko -I like the cleanser a lot - it rinses well (no filmy residue feeling) and seems to help shrink my pores and keep breakouts at bay. FYI - I may have a track on a new cleanser from that line. Stay tuned and I'll get back to you.
