A solid eye cream addition to a simple skincare regimen

by Jeanne

When looking for items for my early 50s face, I like things that glide on easily, that don’t have a scent and that don’t use a hard-to-squeeze pump. I need my products to be simple, yet powerful (I am, after all, deep into anything anti-aging). I’m not into putting ten million creams on my face. Three is my limit. This is why I liked – and recommend – Lumavera Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($80).

This anti-aging eye cream is powerful, yet gentle, with top-level hydration that I felt immediately. I liked that it felt good putting around my eyes and didn’t feel greasy or sticky. This is probably because of its unique, all-natural ingredient list (no parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals, harsh synthetic chemicals, artificial colors or fragrances here!). Or it could be because the ingredients include a "Veggie Blend" that boasts broccoli, tomato, carrot, spinach, kale, brussels sprouts and onion – all high concentrations of antioxidants that fights against free radical damage. It also includes aloe vera, a super ingredient if there ever was one.

I didn’t notice any drastic changes immediately, though I did feel like my skin was tighter and brighter. After all these years of living, smiling, frowning, crying, and so forth, I don’t expect miracles: My lines are my lines. But I liked how Lumavera Anti-Aging Eye Cream allowed the delicate area around my eyes to look fresher. And that, my friends, is the truth.
