I have been using the Lumixyl Revitaleyes eye cream morning and night for a month now.

I am 64 years old and live in Adelaide, South Australia. We have had very hot weather recently and I found this product to be very cooling and soothing around my eyes. I have a few fine lines and crepiness under my eyes but would say my skin is normal - perhaps a little drier in winter.

A little goes a long way with this product; it is non-greasy and has a liquid/gel texture; however, the tube is very small (15 ml) and there would only be enough for about another week’s use. It has no noticeable fragrance and would be suitable for sensitive skin, but I do feel it is not rich enough for anyone over 40. As for visible results, I have not noticed any difference in the skin around my eyes whatsoever.

As a beauty therapist, I have always looked after my skin and am very interested in the ingredients of a product. Revitaleyes has some interesting ingredients such as pea extract, which is meant to promote collagen production, and chrysin, which is supposed to help with dark circles under the eyes. Palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 are at the very end of the ingredients list, so it would be doubtful, in my opinion, that there would be a sufficient amount of these anti-aging ingredients in the product to make much of a difference.

That being said, I have my doubts as to whether any cream can really help with dark circles as I believe sleep (or lack of it), nutrition, and overall health would have a far greater effect.

To sum up, I believe this is a nice product for someone with younger skin wanting a light eye cream.

I have been reading the rave reviews about YBF Correct ($150 in the TIA shop) and think this might be my next purchase as it is probably more suitable to my age group.

I have been using Revitaleyes for couple of weeks now 2 times a day and found it to be too light for the night routine, but perfect for the morning application. I haven't really noticed any difference in the skin around my eyes, but it didn't do any harm either. Overall, it's a nice moisturizing eye cream.
