Mally Beauty foundation is a no fuss professional

July 17, 2009 Reviewed by Marta 4 Comments
Mally Beauty is a makeup range that keeps it simple and does no evil. Focusing on professional results that can be achieved by even a beauty imbecile such as me, founder Mally Roncall doesn't pretend that her products green or natural or good for your skin. They just work.

Ultimate Performance Foundation ($45) proves the point. It comes with its own brush and it really does even out skin tone without being masky. Best of all, Mally has kept things refreshingly simple; a handful of ingredients with nothing to dislike. How many things do you have in your makeup bag that you can say that about?

This is a very likely contender for our next update of Five Best foundations.

I just spotted this review for a Mally product and wanted to chime in on one that I will not do without! Mally Poreless Face Defender is truly the only thing I am addicted to for my face. I wear minimal make-up... concealer, mascara, and a touch of blush, but I never leave home without the Poreless face defender on top. Since I have failed to discover a product that shrinks these pores, this is certainly the next best thing!

    hi all,
i ordered many of mally's products, the ones that are waterproof and/or not supposed to budge until you remove them and ones that do a great job of hiding minor imperfections(pimples, wrinkles, etc) mally definately delivers on her promises. once they set, they are hard to remove w/out cleanser or make-up remover. as someone in the trade i love that i have finally found products that actually do what she says they will do. my only concern is that are definately some questionable ingredients;ferric ammonium ferrocyanide, ferric ferrocyanide, several dies, aluminum powder etc. does anyone know how these effect the body??

The version is NOT the Ultimate Performance, product, its the Visible Skin product. The difference is important as the VS version has a completely different ingredient list, including Methylparaben, Propylparaben and 2 types of silicone. does not appear to carry the UP version.

The Mally web site says they are going to restock as of 7/1/09, but seeing as its 7/17/09, it appears that they are behind schedule.

They link to QVC, which appears to have it:
