Mango Madness Hydrospherex- reader reviewed and recommended
I have been in treatment for breast cancer this year and completed several rounds of chemotherapy in August. My skin had suffered considerably from not just the drugs, but, I have to admit, my own neglect during the months of treatment. My facial skin was dull, dry, rough, and felt almost scaly in spots. Having dealt with the exact opposite skin type my whole life (my skin has always been very oily), I had no idea how to deal with these new issues. I tried several different recommended moisturizers with no real success. Then I read about the Mango Madness paraben free products in the newsletter and was ecstatic to be given the opportunity to try Hydrospherex.
I began using the Hydrospherex morning and evening as directed on the bottle. In the interest of fairness, I chose to forgo the use of anything else but my regular fruit acid cleanser at first. After the very first use, I noticed my skin felt immediately softer and smoother. I will say that I did experience some slight flaking on about day five or six that I believe must have been just my own skin adjusting to a new product, as I gave it a rest for a couple of days and the flaking subsided quickly. I went back to using the product, but I also checked the Mango Madness website for a bit more information. I found much more detailed instructions for the use of the product on the website than had been included with the bottle. (It would have been helpful if they had included a card with the detailed instructions in the shipment.) Based on the instructions on their website, I decided to use the Hydrospherex in conjunction with my usual AHA gel and wrinkle cream.
I can only say that I am absolutely amazed with the results. My face is now smooth and soft, the rough, scaly patches are gone, and my skin actually has a healthy glow again. Both fine and deep lines have softened and my skin seems firmer. (My husband, by the way, agrees wholeheartedly.) I am so impressed that I have already ordered two other products from the company.
Other positives: The amount of serum dispensed is easily controlled by the pump, unlike others I have tried, and a small amount goes a long way.
Negatives: Very minor, but the opaque bottle makes it impossible to know when you’re running low or to judge when to reorder.
Although Hydrospherex is a bit pricey ($69), it delivered. My initial interest in the Mango Madness line was that all their products are paraben free, but I’m staying with Hydrospherex because it performed exactly as promised.
