Marta's Favorite New Finds (VIDEO)

Reviewed by Marta April 7, 2015 4 Comments

I have picked out five of my favorite products and brands of the moment and would love to share them with you. These “favorite new finds” include Moana, a New Zealand brand that uses marine glycans, Harakeke, and other ingredients indigenous to that region to produce the most natural and organic products. I have also chosen LiftLab Lift & Perfect ($250 in the shop), which, interestingly, uses a protein found in Arctic fish in their products to help protect skin cells. Your Best Face Correct Eye Cream ($150 in the shop) is a product many will be familiar with, but has recently been reformulated to include anti-aging peptides, Uplevity and Matrixyl Synthe’6, both which work on skin to give a more youthful appearance. My final two products are Innarah VenoDefense Treatment Creme Hydrating Treatment Creme, which uses a fermentation process to make botanical extracts even more efficacious, and I Pekar moisturizer ($78 in the shop), which uses raw honey to soothe skin and reduce redness. All of the products are organic, healthy and effective—reasons why they are my top five favorite finds!

Moana sure sounds interesting with the use of ingredients indigenous to that region. I heard about the Australian Kakadu plum. the extract of which is used as antioxidant and even a dark spot lightener! Just as interesting and just as pricey for my budget are LiftLab Lift & Perfect, YBF Correct, and Innarah VenoDefense. Of these new faves, I Pekar seems most likely to be tried out first by me for the claims and ingredients, as well as the price. The LiftLab Clariying Cleanser & Mask are a combo to definitely try for the promises of multi-tasking! By the way, I thought that I was finally going to be able to try YBF Correct finally when I saw the "$15 in the shop" typo, but it is really still $150. LOL!

Would love to try Liftlab's Purify and Clarify Cleanser and Mask. For my 39th birthday my skin decided to give me the gift of a massive breakout. So much fun! Not. I notice with age that tell tale sign that it takes longer and longer for my skin to "turnover". I am constantly in search of a product that balances being strong enough to exfoliate my skin but not too harsh or "scratchy" causing irritation. I'm the perfect candidate for this product if you dare to let me try!

I would LOVE to try LiftLab Purify & Clarify Cleanser and Mask. I consider myself the Queen of multi-tasking products. I want an effective skincare routine with as few products as possible, so I love cleansers like this that can also be used as makeup removers, masks, and/or exfoliators - it looks like this one does it all! I have dry skin so I like that it's hydrating, but also struggle with large/blocked pores, especially around my nose and chin, so the detox component would be great as well.
