Some people can't go 100% organic when it comes to skincare products and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. After all, there's a reason why science is science, and it's contribution to skincare is important, depending on what your skin needs and how you address it. With Menscience Daily Face Wash (low on the botanicals) guys can put their worries aside when they're looking for a product that offers a shiny, super clean, healthy-looking mug, especially acne-prone and problem skin.

Menscience Daily Face Wash ($25) is scientifically-based and designed to remove impurities, oily residues and buildup. After a few days of testing it, I agree that it gets the job done. Kudos to the glycolic acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid). I wouldn't recommend it for seriously sensitive skins as it basically sheds the upper layer of the skin and may come across abrasive. At a low-medium strength in Menscience Daily Face Wash, it softens and loosens the dry, dead skin cells that form a barrier on the skin, revealing the fresher skin underneath. It also loosens the natural oils and dirt build up in pores. So it's quite heavy duty. But before you think "wtf?" it also stimulates circulation, increasing collagen and elastin and makes way for new living cells to retain moisture better. Younger looking skin, anyone?

The salicyclic acid (BHA) is also quite strong, known mostly to knock out acne. It's exfoliating, antibacterial and helps unclog pores and strips oily dead matter. The aloe vera extact is there to counteract the harshness with it's anti-inflammatory properties. It's soothing and quite nice on the skin.

Menscience Daily Face Wash is great for acne-prone skin and if you're obsessed about having squeaky-clean skin, I would suggest using an oil-free moisturizer afterward.
