Now that I'm back in NYC for an indefinite period of time, I have been walking miles, hitting the gym and just generally wearing out my feet to the point that I caved and invested in a foot cream (not a bad idea if you are anti-socks like me!). Because there's a variety of good creams out there, I wanted to go with experts and chose Mission Skincare Foot Rehab Cream.

Mission Skincare is a brand that, believe it or not, was started by world-class athletes, including Mia Hamm, Steve Nash and Serena Williams. I'm sure they probably just got huge checks to endorse it, but at the same time, I doubt they would endorse a product they didn't believe in. Even if they didn't believe, I can assure you there's no reason not to. So, knowing me, I went straight to the ingredients for Mission Skincare Foot Rehab Cream to determine whether it was worth it, and I actually was quite impressed with what I found both in the product and the value.

The active ingredient in Mission Skincare Foot Rehab Cream is dimethicone, a silicon-based polymer agent that is known to protect the skin. Because it's essentially an oil, it smooths along the skin barrier (the molecules are too big to really penetrate). That's where the 20 vitamins, antioxidants and botanicals come in. All the nurturing, softening, healing agents you can think of are packed inside this tube, including vitamin K, A and E, grape seed extract, green and white tea. Crazy, right? Who would have thought? It feels great on the feet (thanks to the peppermint oil) and restores cracked heels. Best of all, it doesn't break the bank. It's only $9.99. This athlete is addicted.
