I am a 42-year old woman with combination skin, and was excited to be given the chance to use and review Mukti Balancing Foaming Cleanser ($42), a gently foaming cleansing gel. I have consistently used it, morning and night, for over four weeks.

Firstly, it is an absolute pleasure to use, and as it is based on aromatherapy, I expected it to be. It smells heavenly - extremely fresh and invigorating, which is exactly what I need when I am trying to 'get going' in the mornings.

The product is made from bioactive Australian native extracts - 100% natural, non GMO, free from harmful chemicals, and is vegan and gluten free. It is plant-based and certified organic.

Its two star ingredients are aloe vera and chamomile. After researching to see what the benefits are of these two ingredients, I was very excited. Aloe Vera, besides being a natural skin soother and moisturizer, contains glycoproteins and polysaccharides. Glycoproteins are known to help in healing skin by reducing inflammation. Polysaccarides help with skin growth and repair. Aloe also contains two hormones - auxin and gibberellins. Both are beneficial to skin, however,  Gibberellins also acts as a growth hormone, stimulating the growth of new cells.

Chamomile, the other main ingredient, contains natural healing properties. It helps in the healing process of minor wounds and has anti-bacterial properties. All good news in keeping my skin really clean. It is also full of flavonoids which work to soften and soothe the skin.

The texture of the cleanser is silky.  It feels very soft and smoothing on my skin. Thank you Truth In Aging, I love and recommend this product.

i didnt like this cleanser at all
It doesnt remove makeup well unlrss you do twice and my skin was irritated by the overbearing overload of essential oils which is not good for optimum skin function... disappointed because was guided by the reviews!... not for me!

Pami it's 200ml and you only need a small amount as it's so concentrated. Using mine every day, twice a day, it usually lasts around 3 months.
    It's $49.95.

I use a cleansing oil (Dermalogica Precleanse) beforehand but in any case, you should always double cleanse. So if you're only using this, use it twice at nighttime.

Once is sufficient in the morning.

Could someone tell me how much the bottle contains vs. how well you think it lasts? Also, does it remove makeup without any other help (including eye makeup)? Thanks!
