I’ve been using Mukti’s Tinted Moisturiser with Sunscreen SPF 15 ($50) for a while now, and I am loving it! Even though my skin is not very dry, there is no escape from dryness when you live in the Colorado mountains. I was skeptical when asked to review this product because I have been disappointed by many tinted moisturizers I’ve tried in the past. These products always seem to work in the beginning, but soon enough I start to notice that my wrinkles become more pronounced than without the product. So eventually I quit using it… and this has been the case for some time… but not with Mukti!

It is a MUST to have a moisturizer that doubles as sunscreen and is tinted to cover my age spots and sun damage. It is another MUST that the product be organic... because after 40, we can’t be playing with toxins on our skin anymore (or at any age, for that matter). And Mukti meets these multitasking needs. Although I have yet to learn how to pronounce Mukti*, I am pretty happy that I was chosen to try one of its products!

The color of the tint is subtle, but it works well for me (I have medium to light olive skin that has spent a lot of time on Brazilian beaches). The consistency of the tinted moisturizer allows for it to spread easily onto the skin, which is very important to me (I don’t like products with “harder” textures that cause me to pull my skin back and forth in order to apply them). The Mukti moisturizer is also long-lasting. I only reapply if I have something going on in the evening.

After using the product for more than six weeks, I feel that my skin is moisturized and healthier. The Australian-made product is nano-particle free, certified organic by the Aussie-based Organic Food Chain, and the list of great ingredients include aloe vera; green tea; shea butter; macadamia, jojoba, rosehip, and calendula oils; vitamin E, and more. No wonder this has done wonders to my skin!

Also, little of the product goes a long way, and the airless pump container is easy to handle and keeps the product protected from contamination.

Thanks to Marta and team for the opportunity to try this great product!

[*Editor’s note: Mukti is pronounced MOOKTEE].

Kindly describe the difference between the "light" and "medium" shades of the Mukti TM. It would be helpful if you can recommend which shade goes with what skin color. Thank you.
