I am a mask lover and am always trying new ones, be they homemade or readymade. This includes mud masks, sheet masks, and peel-off masks. Most of the time I make my own using clay or seaweed and adding honey, matcha tea, and other things. I use them at least once a week, especially before special occasions. It rejuvenates my face and makes my makeup go on smoothly.
I was thrilled when Truth In Aging offered me Mukti Vitamin Earth Mineral Masque ($49.50) to try. I loved the fact that it has all natural ingredients, including green tea, vitamins B, C, and E, along with organic honey to hydrate the skin. The pink clay extracts impurities, thus acting as a detox for the skin.
I was going on vacation to Pakistan when I received this product and took it with me. The weather was warm and, since I went to attend a wedding, all-day shopping took a toll on my skin. After a couple of days in sun and pollution I decided to try the mask. You don’t need to put on a lot and I like the little spatula that comes with it to prevent contamination of the product by your fingers. I put it on as instructed and, after washing it off my face, my skin looked so clean and hydrated. All my cousins went “WOW, your complexion look so amazing!" A couple of my cousins gave it a try too and loved it (too bad I couldn’t leave it behind for them).
I used it 6-7 times while I was there and was happy with the results every time. It doesn’t sting, and provides skin with an immediate tightening and lifting effect. The clay is really good at drawing out all the impurities, leaving a glowing complexion.
With continuous use, I feel my skin is clear and smooth, and my pores look smaller. I would definitely make it a part of my mask routine to get the benefits of the vitamins and honey.
