Improves firmness and elasticity of skin as promised

Although my skin, in general, is in pretty good shape and looks younger than its 64 years, the problem I've faced for decades is dark circles and bags under my eyes. I was anxious to try the Murad Renewing Eye Cream ($75), with its claim to "combat puffiness, crow's feet and dark circles" while it "increases elasticity and firmness, reduces wrinkles and sagging."

The dispenser is well designed and pumps the perfect amount to cover under, over and around my eyes. It's light and creamy but not at all greasy, and was quickly absorbed. The fragrance is also light and pleasant. I used the cream morning and night, as directed, and always followed it with a light bit of moisturizer.

After the first two weeks, I began to notice that the tiny lines around my eyes were disappearing, and the skin around my eyes seemed brighter and softer, almost dewy.

Although the results weren't dramatic, it did leave my eye area feeling moisturized and silky soft. Alas, I saw very little change in the puffiness under my eyes, and unfortunately I still have the dark circles ... they're just not quite as dark.

So, if you're looking for a good, moisturizing eye cream, and don't suffer the dark circles that plague me, I would recommend Murad Renewing Eye Cream, as it did make the skin around my eyes appear younger, brighter and smoother with improved elasticity and firmness, as the product claimed to do. If the dispenser were larger, I would also use it around my lip lines and neck for that dewy, youthful glow. I imagine that used with their other anti-aging products, the results would be more impressive.

After 30 days, there's still enough cream in the pump for another week or two, so I'll continue to use it to see if prolonged use will lighten the dark circles more, as most of the reviews I read on this product were very positive.

Thumbs up for results as promised. It did "combat puffiness, crow's feet and dark circles" ... but the battle wasn't won.
