I was pleased when Truth In Aging asked me to try My Prime Skin Recovery Formula ($88). I had never heard of the company so I did some research. Tessa Yutadco started the company when she herself was looking for skin care products that were pure and safe. Being from the Philippines, she is also committed to helping Filipino women and men who harvest the pili oil used in her products.
My Prime Skin Recovery Formula was designed to brighten skin tone and diminish the appearance of age spots, acne marks and wrinkles. The pili oil works well to moisturize the skin while also calming redness and inflammation. The moringa oil is filled with omega fatty acids and antioxidants such as vitamins A, C and E. It also contains an anti-aging peptide that helps boost natural collagen production, promotes skin firmness, and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
At 59, my skin is very dry with some small red marks from past pimples and slight rosacea. The cream is in an airless pump which keeps it germ free. It is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. After using the product morning and night for four weeks, I do feel like some of the redness has decreased and my skin does look brighter. For my skin, I didn't feel like it was all that moisturizing. I still needed to use a moisturizer in addition to it. There is a Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer ($68) in the line; perhaps if you use the two together it is more moisturizing.
I feel like the Skin Recovery Formula is a good product and would consider buying it for my skin care routine.
