Mychelle Supreme "upgrades" from matrixyl 3000

Is a Solution for:
Sagging Skin

There has been a lot of interest in matrixyl 3000, a peptide combination that is supposed to be a powerful antioxidant. One of the better products containing it was Mychelle Supreme Polypeptide Cream ($53.39 for 1.2oz), which was not only full of good things, but did very little evil and garnered good reports from readers. The choice of the past tense in that last sentence was a conscious one (unlike much of the grammatical nonsense that I usually spew out - I blame the transition from English to American). Mychelle Supreme no longer has matrixyl 3000.

I asked Mychelle to tell us why and was promptly emailed back. Apparently, the matrixyl no longer met "strict guildelines of cleanliness". It has been replaced by three peptides that Mychelle claims are even more effective: marine oligopeptides; pisum sativum (pea peptide); and rice peptides.

The humble garden pea (pisum sativum) has peptides that have been identified as anti-fungal. I did turn up a Japanese study that suggests that pea appeared to be superior to wheat and lentil extracts at binding fibroblasts to collagen (at least I think that's what it said). I also found a number of patents for anti-aging products that incorporate pea proteins. Marine and rice peptides come with comprehensive pedigrees. However, I can't say whether it all adds up to an improvement over matrixyl 3000.

Mychelle offered to send me a sample of the scented and unscented. If you want to try the scented, be the first to email me at The deal is that you have to send us a review.

I have the same concern, unclean? It does not equate. Is it something in the process of making said product or chemical changes when applied to the skin? The more I read the more I realize how very little I actually know about the things I apply to my skin. Gratitude gushes your way, thanks Marta for the heads up.

Well, I am currently using Dermapril and I was happy with it. However, I now am concerned about the cleanliness issue. What exactly is "unclean" about Matrixyl 3000? ...thank you
