I took a look at Natural Collagen Q5-26 because someone called George, who I presume works for the company's marketing department, posted a not very subtle press release (see comments). Trying not to hold that against him, I took a look and, because I could only find a full ingredients list for one product, will herewith give you my verdict of Natural Collagen's Regenerating Night Cream.

The collagen, which is one of the active ingredients, comes from what the Polish manufacturer rather quaintly calls the "noblest" fish. This turns out to be the skin of the Balkan Carp. Apart from collagen and elastin, Regenerating Cream contains matrixyl 3000 (believed to be a powerful anti-oxidant) and some plant extracts. Overall, it looks pretty good.

The only thing I don't like about it is the use of a couple of preservatives that are known irritants (DMDM hydantoin and idopropynyl butylcarbomate) and the hugely ironic use of parabens, which the EPA says may be harming marine life. Now where did that collagen come from again....
