Here at Truth In Aging, we are on the constant lookout for the next big players in anti-aging skin care. Thanks to the help of our invaluable TIA community, we proudly carry lesser-known brands that have been positively reviewed and recommended for their top-notch quality and powerful effectiveness. Here are some exciting new products that have been recently introduced to the shop, and we couldn't be more enthused about what they have to offer!

Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics

One Love Organics has always been devoted to creating products that nurture skin without the use of nasties. Their formulas are plant-based and designed to appease every skin type. Now, the brand has paired up with much-loved beauty editor and blogger Elizabeth Dehn, creating a line of products that focus on promoting healthy, hydrated skin. It’s a collaboration that everyone can feel good about!

New in the shop:

Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Vitamin C Active Moisture Serum ($68) contains a potent blend of antioxidants from organic green tea and sea buckthorn oil, as well as vitamins A, C, D and E. Reviewer Cindy has struggled to find a hydrating serum that performs well, and delighted declared "Wow — what a difference. I noticed significant improvement in the texture of my skin — it was so baby soft!"

Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics Active Moisture Vitamin B Cleaning Oil & Makeup Remover ($42) is a creamy cleanser with papain (a fruit enzyme) and a vitamin B complex that lifts away impurities and makeup while moisturizing skin and restoring pH balance. Reviewer Kat noticed after two weeks, that her "complexion had greatly improved, with blemishes remarkably diminished and skin so moist and soft!"


Blissoma takes every detail into account, making sure that their products don’t bring harm to anyone or anything. Manufactured by hand at their herbal studio, all products are 100% vegetarian and cruelty-free, completely biodegradable and packaged using recycled and recyclable materials. Blissoma aims to promote energy, health and overall body wellness by using herbal ingredients that are as close as possible to the way they were found in nature.

New in the shop:

Blissoma Awake Morning Firming Facial Moisture ($25.99) is a lightweight moisturizer that protects and depuffs skin with a blend of brightening herbs and source seed oils. Reviewer Jeanne declared that "this heavenly concoction is a juice blend for your face."

Blissoma Tone Adaptive Energy Tonique ($25.99) helps heal blemishes, synthesize collagen, soothe irritation and protect against environmental pollutants without disturbing skin's pH balance. Reviewer Valerie found it to be "a great vehicle to help the penetration of facial oils and serums."

Indie Lee

After founder Indie Lee overcame a life-threatening tumor that was thought to be the result of environmental toxins, she made it her mission to create products that are made from quality, all-natural ingredients. Indie Lee's entire line is designed to be kind to skin as well as to the planet. All of this while still delivering results and bringing out skin's true beauty.

New in the shop:

Indie Lee Calendula Eye Balm ($42) contains mango seed butter to help diminish dark circles while calendula oil, beeswax and lavender oil increase skin's elasticity. Reviewer Melissa thought it worked well "for hydration and to combat fine lines and dark circles."


Started in 1993, Osmotics was quick to establish a reputation as a pioneer in cutting edge treatments for skin and hair. Founder Francine Edmund Porter says the goal has always been to create products for both men and women that deliver results and have the clinical studies to back it up. Knowing that beautiful skin is more important than a beautiful product, Osmotics stays away from potentially harmful and unnecessary ingredients, like artificial colors, fragrances and coal tar dyes.

New in the shop:

Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Cooling Mist ($35) soothes, tones and hydrates skin that's dry, dull or tired with copper and wild pansy extracts and epidermal hyaluronic acid. Marta says this mist helps her "go from flushed and irritated to soothed within seconds."

Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Face Lifting Serum ($75) is a lightweight serum with copper peptides and shiitake mushroom extract that firms, lifts, tightens and smoothes skin. Reviewer Holli reports that "the tightening effect is subtle and not at all uncomfortable."


Kat Burki

Relying on all natural, raw ingredients, Kat Burki believes in providing a line of skin care that makes you feel beautiful both inside and out. Everything is exquisite from the packaging to the products themselves, which are formulated without the use of parabens, synthetic dyes, sulfates, petrolatum or mineral oils. Kat Burki uses a proprietary blend of herbs to soothe, strengthen, restore, and protect skin from free radical damage.

New in the shop:

Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Day Cream ($90) is a calming and restorative formula that helps to repair and prevent UV-related damage, promote collagen production, enhance the effectiveness of peels and lessen hyperpigmentation. Member Jan loves its texture and says "it is easy to apply and goes on smoothly," while Katya declares it "one of the most luxurious, silky vitamin C-based creams I have ever tried."

Kat Burki Beauty Elixir ($42), contains lavender and aloe vera hydrosols, raw grapefruit seeds, camu camu berries and vitamin C to refresh, soothe, hydrate and revitalize skin. Marta loves the "delicate scent" of rose peony that she tested.


“Sciote” is Latin for “Know thyself,” and one thing Sciote knows is the importance of using pure, simple ingredients that aren’t harmful to the environment or to the people who use them. Their products rely on the right balance of essential oils and botanical ingredients while steering clear of sulphates, thalates, parabens, dyes, toxic chemicals and artificial fragrances. All of their ingredients are both sourced and cruelty-free.

New in the shop:

Sciote Super Moist Hyaluronic Serum ($75 in the shop) contains MSM and 50% hyaluronic acid to promote hydration and give skin a firmer, brighter complexion. Reviewer Judy felt "like there's almost been an anti-rosacea effect with this product, and my skin tone is definitely improved." Member Janet says it "leaves my skin moist and younger looking....highly recommend it!"

Sciote Illume Brightening Serum ($95 in the shop) reduces hyperpigmentation, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles while brightening and hydrating skin. Reviewer Francine was amazed at the effect the serum had on her dark spots, declaring that "after years of using foundation and concealer to minimize them, I find I no longer need a concealer!"

Reviewer Mark first thought that "a milk cleanser probably won't do the job," but after trying it out, he loved how it left his skin "very soft without feeling stripped."

Lumavera 24-Hour Moisturizer ($65) hydrates and firms sagging skin, accelerates skin's repair process and diminishes wrinkles with the brand's signature veggie and plant blends. Reviewer Emily proclaimed it "a welcome, multi-talented, mid-priced AM and PM cream."

BRAD Biophotonic

Taking his experience from successful stints at Estee Lauder, La Prairie and Lancôme, Brad Hunter was inspired to create a line of skin care products that rely on a potent combination of science and pure ingredients. Launched in 2010, Brad Biophotonic Skin Care formulates products that soothe, stimulate, and rejuvenate skin that’s been taxed by common environmental factors.

New in the shop:

BRAD Biophotonic Sublime Youth Creator Radiance Concentrate ($125) contains a patented, encapsulated retinol complex as well as a tripeptide-5 blend to gently promote cell turnover and dramatically improve skin's texture and tone without increasing photo-sensitivity. This product is currently being tested and we can't wait to read its review!



New Zealand based MitoQ takes a scientific approach to anti-aging, realizing that the key to slowing down the clock lies in the makeup of our cells. The brand believes in the importance of promoting mitochondrial well-being. With that said, Mitoq's skincare and supplements are designed to enhance health and beauty from the inside out.

New in the shop:

MitoQ Moisturizing Anti-Aging Serum ($119 in the shop) reduces mitochondrial oxidative damage and supports healthy cell function in order to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, firm skin and fade age spots. Marta reported that her skin looks "healthier — it appears more radiant and rejuvenated."
