I have found this website few months ago and have been reading obsessively ever since.  Now instead of searching the internet I go directly to this site. Thank you Marta (and the team). I have already switched to natural hair care products and was looking to switch to natural skin care as well. Nurture My Body was one of the brands I wanted to try.

I was absolutely thrilled when I was chosen to review their products. I received full size of eye cream, exfoliator, and reparative serum.  I’ve been testing the eye cream and exfoliator for four weeks and have to say I loooooooove eye cream. It is very fluffy and goes on smoothly. I have fine line under my eyes and eyelid crepiness.  After using eye cream for only one week I was amazed at the results. My skin looked so much more relaxed and while the lines and the crepiness didn’t disappear they were less noticeable. I have super sensitive eyes (last night I tried KaplanMD eye cream sample for the first time and this morning I woke up with a tiny rash on my left eyelid) and Nurture My Body never gave me any problems even when I accidently put my finger into my eye. Didn’t even tear up. The cream comes in thick glass jar and after using it for a month, twice a day I still have more than 2/3 left. You only need a very small amount to cover entire eye area.

I’ve been using exfoliator twice a week as directed for four weeks and while I don’t looooooove, it is still very good. Coming off the synthetic exfoliators, I thought the texture was strange and beads were big, coarse and sparse.  My skin was red after the first use but I think the fault was mine as I was messaging my face rather vigorously. However, after few uses I’ve change my mind and now I like it very much. It cleared my “Posh forehead”. I had red bumps on my forehead that never seem to go away. After two weeks of Nurture My Body exfoliator, they are gone and have not come back. Also, blackhead on my nose and my pores in general are less noticeable. It didn’t irritate my rosacea which is another big plus for me.

I am not sure what to make of reparative serum. It comes in pretty cobalt bottle with glass dropper.  It has very watery texture and is pretty lemon color. It needs to be applied very fast or it starts dripping just like water. It is slightly sticky on application but goes away after awhile.  I’ve used it for almost three weeks twice a day. In the middle of the third week I woke up with four zits, two on my forehead and one on each cheek. I have combination skin with slightly oily T-zone and normal/dry cheeks but I am on the birth control and don’t usually get outbreaks like this.  I may get one pimple every few months but not four at the same time. Next day I had two more.  I stopped the serum and went back to my sulfur lotion to control the breakout.   During the three weeks I have used it I have not noticed any changes in the texture or elasticity of my skin. I really wanted to like the serum but it did absolutely nothing for my skin.  And it is definitely not for combination/oily skin. Somebody with dry skin may benefit from it, although I have to say it is not moisturizing at all. My cheeks felt and looked dry after using the serum alone.

I still loooooooove the eye cream.

Thanks for the update Isanna. I agree this is common - the trade off for not adding in all those emulsifiers.

Found my old review and wanted to update on the cream. After two month it started to separate. I found this to be an issue with all natural products. Even though it is only 27$ I only used up third of the products before I noticed a dark yellow liquid on the bottom of the jar.

Thanks Isanna, I'm very happy to hear about an effective eye cream for $27! Sounds like its worth a go!
