A fast-acting anti-ager that delivers firm, plump, glowing skin

by Margie

My short response to Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair (30ml/ $58): Buy it! I would buy it again, and milked my bottle for every last drop.

Osmotics was one of the first companies to introduce an anti-ager featuring copper peptides. The claim is that it increases firmness, elasticity and radiance. A nice bonus: it is made in the US!

The instructions say to use Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair once daily; I did it in the morning. There are no artificial colors or fragrances, and my skin did not break out at all, which it normally does with most new products I've used. You only need a little dab to face and neck.

My one ounce sample of Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair lasted just over a month. If your skin is very dry, you might need to add a moisturizer. For my combo, 50s-ish skin, I was fine without.

I noticed a firmer, plumping effect within the first week or so of using Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair. Nice that it didn't take 6-8 weeks to see any progress, like many products do. When I touched my skin, it had a nice elasticity to it. I also noticed an overall improvement in skin tone and brightness.

There are two paraben components for those of you who are concerned about that issue [Editor's note: for more about parabens, read here]-they are listed at the very end of the ingredient list, so presumably the amount is small. The product also contains propylene glycol, again at the end of the ingredient list, a moisturizing component that has some potential for irritation, though I certainly did not experience that with my otherwise sensitive skin.

Ingredients in Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair: Purified Water, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG-8, Glycerine, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Polysorbate-20, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Cyclomethicone, Glycerine, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol, Acrylates Copolymer, Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Panthenol (Vitamin B-5), Copper PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polysorbate 20, Allantoin, Carnosine, Sodium PCA, Dimethicone, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Propylene Glycol

I received a sample of this product and couldn't imagine that it would make a real difference in my dry and flaking skin. The next morning my skin was noticeable softer and, after I finished the sample, I purchased a larger jar and the eye cream. Both have helped considerably with the texture and fullness of my skin. I do use a moisturizer on top of the Blue Copper because of the severe dryness of my skin. There is no irritation - something that is a constant issue for me - and it has very quickly made a difference in the softness and redness of my skin. I am definitely a fan.

So glad you like it Margie. I think this range deserves more fans. I like the eye serum and body repair - both firm with copper.
