I didn’t need to read more than “Targets hormonal aging for skin 40+” on the Osmotics website to say “Yes! “ when asked if I wanted to try the Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Prime ($135), since I’ve been crying for manufacturers to specify for which age brackets their products are targeted. I mean, there’s an ocean of difference in treating lines in a 20-something face as opposed to treating lines in a 50-something face.

I won’t go into the ingredients, since Marta has covered that in her usual splendid and all-encompassing review of this product. I’ll just give my own experiences. So, what did I expect of this product and how did it match my expectations? Given that my face and I have gone through six decades — collecting wrinkles and sags in the process [sigh] — my expectations/hopes were to actually perceive a tightening and lifting of facial skin. High hopes, indeed!

I’ve used it consistently twice daily for the past month, and I am very pleased with the way it works! My jaw line is definitely firmer and the skin tone is improved. When applied it absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling “nourished.” I sometimes even forgot to apply my moisturizer! All in all, my expectations were fulfilled, and then some!

On a slight downside, the jar won’t last me another month, making it not-so-very price-worthy. On the other hand, it works!
