Sagging Skin
August 19, 2010 Reviewed by admin 1 Comment

What is it? A moisturizing cream that repairs and corrects aging around the eye area.
For people with:
fine lines, wrinkles, crows feet
Recommended use:
Using ring finger, gently pat into skin around eyes (uppoer/lower lids) until absorbed.
TIA recommends for people in
: 40+

Highlights: Marta says this cream is good at smoothing out wrinkles and tightening the skin. She also thought that it was a good depuffer. It has teprenone (also known as Renovage) and is supposed to stabilize things called telomeres, which allow cells to distinguish chromosome ends from broken DNA. Maintaining telomere length extends the number of times cells reproduce by one third. And not only does it have antioxidant power, but it has the potential to fight against oxidative damage done by free radicals and sugar-related glycation.

Dana Pond says: Ohhh! I have this Osmotics eye cream. Just got it a few weeks ago. So far really like it. It’s hydrating, which I need. Will keep you posted if I see improvements in my fine lines. I have been mixing it with the Osmotics Eye Surgery to help with the crepiness I have around my eyes as well (from years of allergies and hay fever).

Complaints: Marta found herself Panda-eyed one day and the cream didn't really do much to combat her dark circles.

Ingredients we love: Aside from the Renovage, carnosine is another ingredient that may help extend the hayflick limit. There are also a couple botanicals, such as peumus boldus, which is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Resveratol has also been isolated from polygonum cuspidatum root extract, also known as Japanese knotweed. And spilanthes acmella is a muscle relaxant that helps prevent the formation of expression wrinkles.

Ingredients we don’t: n/a

Retail Price: $78
