Pomega5 Healing Cream- reader reviewed and recommended

I’ve got sensitive skin to the point that I get extreme eczema in the winter, and lately have been developing allergies to medications, which exacerbate my skin’s sensitivity. Why am I sharing this with you? Well, I’ve mentioned it on several threads here at TIA in the hopes that our community might have suggestions, and I lucked out when Marta sent me a container of Pomega5 Healing Cream ($85) to test.

I tested the cream on the left side of my face, comparing it to my trusted Glo Therapeutics Oil Free Moisturizer on the rest of my face (the Glo product doesn’t give me any breakouts, and is a great light moisturizer for the summer).

The Pomega cream comes in an airless pump, which I love, as it keeps the cream intact longer than products that one must scoop out with one’s fingers. The cream itself is an opaque, off-white color with a noticeable fragrance, which I am having a hard time describing. Once you apply the cream, it sinks into the skin rapidly, and the scent dissipates. The cream leaves a soft but noticeable finish. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and on more than one occasion it helped 'fix' my skin's sensitivity; the cream calmed the redness and the stinging sensation an exfoliant had brought on.

I think Pomega5 Healing Cream is a great moisturizer and sensitive skin remedy for those of us with sensitive skin. It doesn’t cause any reactivity, or any acne flare-ups. It’s a slightly heavier moisturizer than the others that I use, and so has been quite helpful as fall weather appears, the outside humidity drops and the interior of my house is bone dry due to central heating. I plan on purchasing another bottle as soon as this one is finished.
