Very effective on fine lines and eye puffiness, though does not live up to its claims of Botox-like results

Immediate, visible results

Does not help dark circles

I've been using Prana Precious Fluids ($135) for four weeks. Now, I must say that I'm not a big fan of mushrooms (eating them, that is) as I've always considered them to be fungus, and the main ingredient in the Prana range is organically grown mushrooms. Frankly, being considered a guinea pig isn't fun, but testing quality cosmetic products does excite me — except for the thought of putting fungus on my face. Then, I read that it was also mixed with Amazonian plants, and it's entirely organic and suitable for all skin types. In my opinion, the results of this strange marriage are impressive.

I've reached the dreaded 'f' decades (my fifth), and my skin has finally settled into being a combination normal/oily, after being excessively oily and prone to outbreaks. Though, I'm still highly sensitive and inclined to experience allergic reactions (believe me, not a pretty sight), so this product is very suitable for me to use.

When the product arrived, I was curiously excited, especially after reading the cute little box it came in that claimed: Botox injections will be a thing of the past and you'll wake up to younger eyes.

I couldn't wait to try it. First, I applied the Precious Fluids, which is very easy to use. Just roll right on and lightly blend, but be careful not to get it in the eyes. So far, I've been lucky not to have deep wrinkles or crow's-feet, except for fine lines, and within five minutes of application, I saw an immediate change. Just to be certain that I wasn't seeing things, I decided to use the fluid on a deep frown line and another one across my forehead, just for a bit of comparison. And again, I saw a difference. Then, I happily applied the free sample of the ReVital Eyes cream that was included with the product (it can be used AM, PM or any time of day), it felt light and really nice on my skin, though I did experience a slight tingling, but only on that first use.

I had also awoke with puffy eyes and very dark circles due to having way too much fun at my husband's 50th birthday, and after using the product, the puffiness was gone, but disappointedly it did nothing to the dark circles. Prana has made the skin around my eyes look and feel much firmer, and using it twice daily has decreased the appearance of fine lines. However, while I am impressed by these results, I'm highly skeptical that it will ever replace Botox injections.

Nevertheless, I'm still very happy to recommend Prana Precious Fluids. But if you're expecting Botox-like miracles, you'll be disappointed. As for its claim to reducing dark circles, so far, it has made little difference to mine. However, if you want to help smooth and firm the eye area, then Prana Spa Ceuticals is a great way to start.
