I was one of the lucky recipients of the Your Best Face Correct ($150 in the shop) eye cream sample. I have been using it twice a day for the past two weeks. I was giddy when my package arrived and could hardly wait to start using the product that Truth In Aging was raving about. I got home, opened it and loved the little bottle. It fit nicely into the cabinet next to my bathroom mirror - so it must have been meant for me, right?
On the first application, I noticed the slight smell. I think it might have something to do with the alpha arbutin that is in the product since I have come across the same fruity sent in other products (Marta adds: YBF tells me that the almondy smell is due to the spin trap).
After applying YBF Correct to my left eye (I am keeping my former routine for the right, I felt that it took longer to absorb and was a little shinier than the Ischia Thermae Anti-aging Eye and Lip Cream and the B Kamins that I have been using for the last few months (thanks, Marta, for the suggestion). However, a few hours after my YBF application, my under eye skin was still well moisturized and mostly wrinkle free (I have a bit of crepeiness that I am still working on).
The other thing that I have noticed is that the dark circles don't seem to be as light under my left (YBF) eye as the right. I still have plenty left and will continue with my regime and update you.
