I used the Adorage Antistress Serum ($155) and Moisturizing Cream ($140) for one month, as that is how long the two products lasted. Based on price alone, I was hoping to get more use out of Adorage, but instead I found myself scraping remnants out of the cream's pot and shaking the serum's bottle fruitlessly. It's very possible that my serum's squirt feature was defective, since every time I depressed the top, liquid spewed several feet across the room and splattered my vanity mirror.
I was drawn to the two beauty potions by their ingredients and touted results. As a regular reader of books with anti-aging secrets and cutting-edge beauty tips, I noticed that Adorage incorporates many of the ingredients recommended by Dr. Perricone. I had serious musings that the soy extract within the serum was increasing the elasticity of my over-50 skin and that its vitamin C was stimulating new collagen in my lower face.
Adorage's creamy serum was a delight to apply, as I was instantly struck by its clean, earthy, woodsy scent. In all honesty, I have tried many face products, but none with such a natural, stimulating smell. The serum glided on my face and neck easily. I took in the wonderful smell as the serum steadily dried.
The moisturizing cream had some similar layers of scent, with different ones as well. Surprisingly, it was not as strong a smell, though still delightful. The cream was nicely emollient and soothing. I had great expectations that the pure hyaluronic acid would moisturize better than other creams, and I am happy to report that it did.
I have super-sensitive skin and am prone to negative reactions to new products. The Adorage duo gave me no issue. I do believe that the mulberry tree extract and jojoba oil in the moisturizer did just what Adorage promises- that the cream calms your skin by virtue of its anti-inflammatory properties.
Unfortunately, I think that you need to use such products more than one month to see results. The ingredients are all you could hope for in an effective set of anti-aging cosmetics. They are a veritable cornacopia of youth-enhancing possibilities- vitamin C, DHEA, wild yam extract, hyaluronic acid, wheat proteins, and linoleic acid. You know you just can't go wrong.
Moreoever, the packaging states that Adorage's top quality active ingredients are in their highest possible concentrations and purest forms! I want to get more antistress serum and use it another month coupled with the antistress cream and cleanser, as part of the full regime. I know I might sound like a sucker, but I am actually the antithesis to the impulse beauty buyer. Even so, the red containers are so appealing, and oh, that scent!
