I've been using Frownies for a few weeks now... do they work?

Yes, there is a definite effect of smoothing the lines overnight. Unfortunately this effect will wear off after a few hours, so it won't turn back time. However, if for 8 hours a day the wrinkles are being kept at bay, maybe it is worth looking like a badly wrapped parcel at bed time!

I have done some experiments with other papers though, and personally find that slightly, self adhesive brown tape is even better than Frownies, presumably much cheaper too.

The sticking plaster pulled the skin too much, but the Frownies themselves are rather too stiff and hard edged around the eyes. I recommend trying softer papers for this area and using soluble gum to keep them in place. Hope this info is useful! Thanks for the opportunity to try the product.

masking tape should work just as well. i used a wide self adhesive brown tape made of paper and tear pieces off to apply to lines at the mouth.or you can use gloy glue and experiment with different papers for differeent parts of the face. at the moment i am using soft pieces of plastic wrapping paper cut to shape and.it adheres just by moisturizer. applied onto below the eyes it stops overnight creases

When you say "soft brown tape" do you mean masking tape?
