A great lotion that will tackle dry hands

by Denise

I rarely find a hand lotion that I like because I never really felt that they are very effective. That was until I tried Red Flower Italian Blood Orange softening hand lotion ($18).

I am a 57 year old woman who has extremely dry skin. In my search for any type of hand or body lotion, like Red Flower, it must be free of dyes, parabens, sulfates and synthetic preservatives. This hand lotion has less than ten ingredients and about half of them are essential oils. The bottle states that it is wildcrafted with botanical extracts. It has a very pleasing fragrance and a nice, smooth consistency. Each night before I went to bed, I applied Red Flower hand lotion. It went on smoothly and I noticed that there was a bit of "residue" not quite absorbed into the skin. I thought this might be an issue but I also felt that it was some sort of 'skin shield.'

All I can say is that I woke up with no evidence of residue on my hands and in a few weeks' time, I noticed that my hands looked softer and smoother. Others noticed too! This was a big thing for me as I never really liked how my hands looked. I now like how soft and smooth my hands are. I apply a little more hand lotion each night and then rub the extra up my arm. This is a terrific product that really does smooth your hands and is one I consider to be safe with no issues of possible carcinogenics or pollutants. It is a winner for sure!

Ingredients in Red Flower Italian Blood Orange softening hand lotion: Water (Aqua), Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera), Apricot (Prunus Armeniaca) Kernel Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF (Vegetable), Sodium Lactate, Fragrance, Benzyl Alcohol
