Improved overall skin texture and complexion

I’ve been reading the reviews of the ReLuma Skin Illuminating Serum ($145/20 ml) on TIA for a little while now and have been dying to try it.  I really wanted it for my forehead wrinkles, but at 43, I find my skin is more sensitive and prone to irritation and hormonal breakouts than it was in my thirties.  Would this become my “go-to” serum or wreak havoc on my skin?  Finding an anti-aging product that helps with wrinkles, but won’t irritate or make me breakout is always a challenge.

Well, in the six weeks that I’ve been using this product, I am so impressed!  Not only are my wrinkles much improved, but also my skin just looks healthier.  On my forehead, the fine lines have disappeared and the larger wrinkles are much shallower.  I didn’t expect my pores to change, but they are much smaller and my skin, overall, is noticeably smoother in both the forehead and nasolabial areas.  The skin on my forehead looks and feels firmer, like the collagen has built up beneath it.  As an added benefit, I’ve noticed that my skin has been remarkably clear for the past month or so since I began using the serum.  In fact, I like this serum so much that I just ordered the ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-Aging Moisturizer ($85 in the TIA store) from TIA, too.

As for the actual serum, I found there to be nothing irritating about this product – no perfumes or odor, no stinging, etc.  The product seems to glide on better if my hands are damp or slightly wet when I apply it, but a little seems to go a long way.  I have been applying the serum twice daily and following it with YBF Antioxidants Concentrate ($65 in the TIA store) in the mornings.  I seem to get the best results when I use my Baby Quasar red two to three times a week following the serum.  When I receive the ReLuma Moisturizer, I’m considering switching to the moisturizer during the day and serum at night.  I’ve read that after six months, I will be able use less product and maintain my results.

I know Marta said to wait three weeks to see a difference, but I noticed an improvement in my skin a lot sooner.   Of course, everyone has different responses to new products, but my skin absolutely loves this serum.  I still have wrinkles.  Even Botox (last year) could not entirely get rid of my “elevens” and one stubborn line on my forehead, but I feel like ReLuma has taken a good five years off of my skin’s appearance, and that puts me in my late 30’s – a place I would happily stay as long as possible!!!

I have been wanting to try the ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-Aging Serum because of all the reviews I have read but it is a little pricey. I am excited about the stem cell research. Skin care just keeps getting better and better. Would love to try it on my 54 year old skin, more specifically on my "smile" lines and lip lines. For me, those are my stubborn areas that I have yet to find something to lessen. Sign me up!!

Big thanks to Marta for the Reluma special and Denise for your great review insights, for these two reasons I was able to make the purchase and go with these products to see how/if they will work equally as well for me.

I'm using it with my Sirius and I have noticed some subtle improvements as well. I'm hopefully excited that I will see similar results as both of you!

Thanks again for the great review!

Hi Susan, first of all a warm welcome aboard. If you email, we can send you a small ReLuma sample - enough to allergy test. Also a great way to get started is with the Discover With Marta box. There are five hand-picked by me deluxe samples (including a deluxe Reluma sample) worth $170 for $49 and they are a great way to find out what will work for you and suit your sensitive skin.

I am new to TIA and have extremely sensitive under eye areas. This sometimes extends to the crows feet as well. The area around my eyes can react with an eczema type reaction including swelling and puffiness.
I would love to try ReLuma Serum as well as one of the highly recommended eye creams (YBF Correct?) but am a bit concerned about reactions. What do you think? I am 56 and unfortunately am just getting started in this skin care thing and have no idea where to start! please!

    Thank you,

Denise, I have been searching for the same thing... a serum to improve my skin without causing breakouts. Sadly, I am still looking! I was so hopeful when I ordered ReLuma Illuminating Serum but it did not work well on my skin - instant breakout. I do love their moisturizer! Happy it worked out for you. Unfortunately in my case, I wasted a lot of $ and am still searching.
