We have all heard the adages that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "beauty is skin deep." Taking care of my skin is so important to me that finding a cream with viable results is better than any mark-down at Barney's! I am a 60 (and change!)-year-old woman with normal skin. I don't have any major issues except for crow’s feet on the outskirts of my eyes. What I mostly wanted from this eye cream was an improvement in these lines.

Every woman wants glowing skin, and many of us will go to the corners of the earth to find the best skin care products for ourselves. I had the chance to test Restørsea Revitalizing Eye Cream ($85). Twice a day, I applied the cream around the orbital area of each eye. My usual routine starts with a Clarisonic to cleanse, then apply a toner, serum, face cream with 30 SPF, eye cream and foundation. Everything else remains the same in this routine except the addition of this eye cream.

The claims for Restørsea Revitalizing Eye Cream are different than that of other creams because this one contains an unusual active — an enzyme released by baby salmon when they are born, which is the key ingredient in Restørsea's "Vibransea Complex." Also, there is Aquabeutine XL, which claims to offer the same benefits as Retin-A and glycolic acid without side effects. Brown algae and vitamin C are also an integral part of this cream.

Now, for the results... drum roll! I loved the consistency of the eye cream. Because it doesn't contain parabens or mineral oil, pores do not get clogged. I found this to be an ordinary cream with minimal results in reducing skin aging signs around my eyes. After doing more research on the claims of Restørsea Revitalizing eye cream, improving the appearance of dark circles is where this product excels. I don't have dark circles and my crow’s feet are still there.

I am glad that I tested the product and wish that I had gleaming results to report. Oh, and I have to go now... I just figured out that when I apply the eye cream on my cheeks mid-day, it brings my skin back to life with an ethereal glow.
