At last, a hair mask that gives a quick fix without relying on silicone. Phyto's Phytojoba Masque Express is really good for hydrating dry ends. It gave my hair a nice soft shine after about five minutes (no need to sit around for half an hour wrapped in a hot towel).
Despite the name, the main ingredient (for once, taking precedence over water) isn't jojoba, but angelica. Root extract of angelica is rich in terpenes (of which vitamin A is an example). As well as jojoba oil, there is orange. There are several anti=static ingredients, mostly derived from coconut, and mild surfecants. There is some silicone and also an ingredient, trideceth-12, that prevents silicone build up. The usual parabens, but otherwise there isn't much to dislike.
