I recently had the pleasure of trying Skin Nutrition LIVE Organic Refreshment Spritz ($42.50). I'm in my late 40s, and I love the fact that all the ingredients are organic in nature. Skin is, after all, our largest organ, and what we put on it is absorbed into our blood stream and affects our health. The ingredients are certified organic, and Skin Nutrition takes pride in low-carbon footprint packaging as well.

The product is full of ingredients that are good enough to eat, like kale, pomegranate, acai and cucumber. The ingredients promise to be nourishing to skin cells and include antioxidant astaxanthin, resveratrol and MAP vitamin C. Trehalose aids in moisture retention, and there are organic essential oils for aromatherapy. Honestly, I do not know what all those things are but they combine to make a lovely product.

The fine mist spray must be shaken prior to use. Due to its organic nature, it has a tendency to settle. But I do not consider that a detriment in any way. The mist is very light and sprays wide. The first smell is minty, but it settles into a gentler flower-like scent until it becomes unnoticeable. I tended to enjoy four spritzes at a time. I varied the direction from top to bottom of face, and then reversed and from one side to the other, then reversed. I’ve been using this spritz for a number of reasons. After cleansing, I apply to feel clean and refreshed. I also use it after applying my powder mineral foundation as a setting spray. Then, of course, if I feel a bit overheated, a little spray is instantly cooling. The bottle is a generous 4.2 ounces, allowing liberal usage.

I really do think this product will appeal to everyone, and if organic is important to you, then you MUST try it.
