Snowberry Starbright Moisturiser ($51) is a lightweight facial moisturizer formulated for combination to oily skin. I am in my late 20s, and although it's winter and my skin feels a bit drier, I still can get that mid-day t-zone oil-slick, so I thought this product may be a good one for me to try.
Snowberry is a brand from New Zealand whose products boast native and natural ingredients. The Starbright Moisturiser promotes three "superfruit" ingredients of the Amazonian rainforest that include cupuacu, cranberry seed, and lingonberry, all known for their moisturizing capabilities. The Starbright Moisturiser also claims to contain skin brightening properties of the New Zealand rainforest Totara, though they do not state which ingredients specifically.
After consistent use of the product, I found my skin did feel dramatically softer and less oily. I did not notice any difference in skin discoloration, but perhaps the change in that could come with extended use of the moisturizer. Lastly, I thought the packaging designed by London artist Rob Ryan to be whimsical and adorable. I like this moisturizer and will continue using it.
