Strivectin Instant Facial Sculpting Cream gives your face a boob job

Is a Solution for:
Sagging Skin

Peering at Strivectin's new anti-aging potion, I was initially having a hard time linking the very descriptive name - Instant Facial Sculpting Cream - with the ingredients. I was expecting to find one of those face freezing peptides, like Argireline. Mostly, I seemed to be staring at a bunch of chemical emollients such as propylheptyl caprylate that impart a short-term softness to the skin and every paraben known to man. I was about to yawn and make a cup of tea, when I spotted something.

In fact, my mind immediately jumped to boobs. This is not as odd as it may sound. What I had spotted was anemarrhenae asphodeloides. The extract of this plant (the root to be precise) has unique plumping effects. So much so that the maker, Sederma, markets it as a breast enhancer called Volufiline. It is actually used in Rodial's Boob Job, breast enhancing cream. Hydrogenated polyisobutene, a synthetic oil that is widely used in cosmetics, and  the root extract of a plant that is a laxative and used to make soap are combined and, unlikely as it may seem, are good at stimulating the adipocytes, the connective tissue that makes and stores fat. Not surprisingly, Strivectin also uses it in its Hydro Thermal Bust Beautification Serum.

I find anemarrhenae a tad confusing because in Chinese medicine it is used to reduce fat, not move it around or increase it. However, you'll have to put a lot of faith in this root if you decide to give Strivectin's Instant Facial Sculpting Cream ($79) a try because there's not much else here. To be fair, I did find my face freezer, 3-aminopropane sulfonic acid. This is an analogue for GABA, the ingredient that is cropping up in face creams as a neurotransmitter (it is supposed to inhibit muscle movement). There is also a skin lightener called phenylethyl resourcinol. But that's about it.

All in all, I'd say its a bust.

I have been using this product for 2 months without paying much attention to results, but when I ran into one of my pictures taken on New Year's Eve and compared to another taken last weekend, I was pleasantly surprised. It is not a face job, but results are visible.

I do not trust any product made by Stri-Vectin -I have purchased two different items they offer and neither produced any results.
