This 5-in-1 sunscreen delivers on almost all fronts

Treats and protects skin

Too-sheer coverage

While I may be a multitasker myself, I have never been one to love multitasking products. In my experience, the more a product claims to do, the less it delivers on each of its advertised promises. Not even those alliterative BB, CC, DD (are we up to ZZ now?) creams have converted me. With that, it should go without saying that I approaching Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen with low expectations. However, I was shamelessly proven wrong about this exceptional product.

Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen, which was an Allure magazine featured product,  is a tinted facial sunscreen with SPF 30 meant to treat, hydrate, protect, prime and cover skin. Out of these five uses, it delivers on about 4 ½ with the weakest being the product’s coverage, but more on that later. First, allow me to rave about its priming power. As someone with combination skin, I struggled to find a perfect primer to wear under makeup. Some control my shine but emphasize dry spots while others are too moisturizing and make me even oilier than usual. Suntegrity found the perfect balance here. It delivers just the right amount dose of hydration while still keeping me matte all-day. This multitasker replaces my need for a separate moisturizer, smooths my makeup application and even adds wear time.

As far as "treating" and “protecting” my skin goes, Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen delivers on those two fronts, too. Zinc oxide gives the product its broad spectrum spf 30 coverage properties and, according to Suntegrity’s website, also provides "anti-inflammatory properties that help with rosacea, acne, and melasma." I am prone to breakouts, and this sunscreen definitely hasn’t caused an acne flare-up, and my redness and blemishes do in fact seem slightly calmed. Also added into the mix are red algae, jojoba, sunflower, pomegranate, cucumber and green tea. These antioxidants fight free radical damage to promote young, healthy skin. Since I’m in my 20s, I consider adding antioxidants into my skincare regimen an easy way to prevent premature aging and keep my skin looking its best (and hopefully for some time to come, too).

Lastly, as previously mentioned, the only area where this product fell short was with its pigmentation. I received this product in shade Fair, and it’s coverage is sheer at the very most. Personally though, I take no issue with this, especially I never use tinted moisturizers anyway. If anything, I was delighted by how this product’s slight tint was just enough to avoid the dreaded “white cast” that tends to come with other sunscreens.

Additionally being free of parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, synthetic dyes, sulfates, PABA, titanium dioxide, nano-particles and chemical UV absorbers while also certified both vegan and cruelty free, Suntegrity 5-in-1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen is a true winner across the board and has certainly changed my tune about multitasking skincare.
