As a tribute to Laure Manaudou, I'm bequeathing her the official title of Truth in Aging's Mistress of Ceremonies for Truth In Aging Anti-Aging Olympics Swimming Against the Tide competition.  But c'mon, she deserves it - just look at her hair, its fabulous.  I wonder what products she's using...?

Plus, she's been swimming in decidedly choppy waters these days. After watching NBC's unapologetic tabloid-y profile of France's Manaudou - in which they 1) acknowledged that she was unlikely to rank in the 400 IM, but 2) still proceeded to detail her romantic life, mentioning leaked nude photos and videos that her Italian Olympic team, ex-boyfriend posted on the internet after breaking up with Manaudou, and then 3) played up the fact that Manudou was competing against her ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend, Italy's Federica
Pellegrini, who later went on to break a world record* - I could feel nothing but sorry for her.

Now, on to the winners of Truth in Aging's 2008 Swimming Against the Tide Competition.
