I had the pleasure of trying Tammy Fender Epi-Peel ($80). At first glance, the jar seemed small, but this product packs quite a punch. The texture of this peel feels and looks more like a thick paste. What it does is nothing short of amazing.
I’m in my 50s and have a fair complexion with combination skin and an oily t-zone. I have used other peels and have had a medical grade peel in a doctor’s office. So I’m able to review this product without reservation.
Instead of using my fingertips to dig out product as suggested, I used a small spatula; very little product is needed. I dampened my face and with circular motions, gently massaged the peel onto cleansed skin.
While working with this product, I noticed that the scent was very medicinal, which appealed to me. I allowed the peel to dry and remain on my skin for five minutes. When I rinsed my face, I noticed that no residue was left behind. This was not the case with other peels I’ve tried. What I did notice was that it gave me a very hydrated and refreshed complexion without stripping my skin. This peel managed to clear my pores and gave my skin a radiant glow.
I have used this peel twice a week for one month, and my skin has never looked better without any stinging, redness or flaking. It would be beneficial for dry, oily, dehydrated or aging skin.
I like the fact that, Tammy Fender, believes in a holistic approach to skin care with an emphasis on natural ingredients. Moroccan rosemary, kaolin clay, far west native spearmint, hibiscus extract and grape seed are a few of these natural ingredients. I highly recommend Tammy Fender Epi-Peel.
