Tilth products are earth friendly and filled with many organic ingredients – no “nasties” (as Marta calls them). This particular product, the Anti-aging Firming Moisture Cream ($55), which claims to “help reduce the appearance of your unwanted facial folds and lines… helping to turn back your unique aging clocks” just made me grumpy about my clocks. All of my clocks. Because I wanted it to work, I tried to like this cream.

Tilth’s Anti-aging Firming Moisture Cream is packaged in a jar and has a whipped  texture. Once I spread it onto my skin, I felt as if I had an extra layer on my face; a layer that felt somewhat waxy and strange. I decided to only use it on that wrinkly hollow at the base of my neck. You know the spot; that place that just seems to shout “old lady” no matter how good the rest of your skin is looking.
