An Olympics winner has to be the real deal (well, unless they achieve “the impossible” in the swimming lanes) and so Truth In Aging is honoring beauty brands that mean what they say when it comes to natural and organic. For giving organic a good name and for those on a budget, 100% Pure is worthy of the Gold. Juice Beauty’s anti-aging botanicals take the Silver medal, while newcomer from Australia, Mukti, may proudly hold up our Bronze medal.

100% Pure Jasmine Green Tea Tonique ($19). This is such a great product range with everything from makeup made from fruit pigments (even the mascara), to body washes with a bazillion flavors, to Kate Hudson’s favorite eye cream (that would be the one with caffeine).  The mostly organic ingredients are clearly indicated and who they have been certified by. No greenwashing here. And the prices are keen as a javelin thrower (hey got to get those Olympic analogies in somehow). This toner is an oil free, anti-inflammatory treat that is ideal for summer and doubles, when saturated on a cotton ball, as a cleanser. Read the full review

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer ($65). Juice Beauty is all about organic botanicals, but it also wants its products to be transformative anti-agers. This year’s ‘IT’ active, stem cells from humans, are out for a company like Juice Beauty so it had to source its stem cells from apple and grape buds, lemon bark, and apple, grape and lemon juices. The result – Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer - is an effective moisturizer with an outstanding price to quality ratio. Read the full review.

Mukti Antioxidant Facial Oil ($40). Mukti’s organic ingredients are certified to Australian standards, which are much more stringent than those in the US. The Mukti Antixidant Facial Oil is a concoction of organic oils with a strong emphasis on high nutritious macadamia, carrot and pomegranate. Prepare to be repaired and refreshed. Read Dani’s review (OK, she’s an Aussie and probably biased, but it is still a great, and beautifully written review.
