An affordable at-home device that helps to improve your skin and make it look younger

Visible skin firming and clearing

by Rachelle

I was so excited to find out that I was going to be testing out the Truth Vitality Lux Renew with LED and Ultrasound ($279 in the shop). I had been reading about this being an at-home anti-aging tool that offers both LED and Ultrasound modes. I have always tried to take good care of my skin and stay out of the sun, but living in the hot climate in Texas, it hasn't been easy. My 60-year-old skin is dry with a few fine lines here and there, but what concerned me the most were the lines running from the nose to mouth (the marionette lines, as they are called). So, I was anxious to see if the Truth Vitality Lux Renew would make a difference in those for me.

When it arrived, I was delighted to see that with its sleek design, it fit so perfectly in my hand. On the handle were four buttons along with the LCD display for the control panel. There is a button for the "on/off", the "mode" button, which allows you to switch between functions and the "shift" button, which allows you further options. There was also a pair of goggles for when you use the LED to protect your eyes. I did the testing on my arm and waited 24 hours to make sure I wouldn't have any reactions, but it was fine. At first, I wasn't really sure how to use it and where, but after studying the instructions that came with it and watching Marta's video, I started experimenting. Quite honestly, it took me five or six times of using it to really get the hang of it, but once you do, it is very simple to operate. I tried to use it four or five nights a week — sometimes just the LED, other times the Ultra Sound. Some nights I would use the LED first and then the Ultrasound. The default operating time is for 15 minutes, but by selecting mode "time", you can adjust this in one-minute increments up to 19.

I bought the Ultra Renew Gel Serum to use in the ultrasound mode. It worked very well to give it some slip to move on the face. I never used the Blue LED as I don't have any issues with acne.

I was using the device along my jaw line and on the lines from my nose to lips and also around my eyes. I am very pleased to see that it is starting to make a slight difference. The lines around my eyes are beginning to diminish some, and the lines from my nose to lips and my jaw line are definitely looking firmer. I also have a little bit of rosacea on my cheeks, which has cleared up considerably. I have only been using it around six weeks, so I am hopeful that with diligent continued use I will see continued improvement. I am thankful to Marta and Truth in Aging for coming up with the Truth Vitality Renew with LED and Ultrasound and making it affordable so that people who don't have the money for all the treatments and procedures out there can do something to improve and make their skin look younger.
