W3LL People Altruist Satin Mineral Foundation Review

Pros

Lightweight. long-lasting coverage

Cons

Powder scatters on application
Top-notch, light coverage, powder foundation

After watching the video of W3LL People co-founder Shirley Pinkson on Truth In Aging, I was immediately drawn to the brand and more than happy to try the W3LL People Altruist Satin Mineral Foundation. As someone who does not wear very much make up, I love that their products are natural and mostly organic.

I think the last time I wore liquid foundation was at my good friend’s wedding this past June. I like to keep things simple. I never tried mineral foundation before so I was intrigued. I love that W3LL People Altruist Satin Mineral Foundation leaves my skin feeling super soft. It provides long-lasting coverage and balances my complexion. I love that it’s so lightweight I can wear it all day without ever feeling greasy and that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling cake-y like most liquid foundations. I don’t think I’ve mastered applying it, though, since much powder winds up on the bathroom sink.

I am excited to try more products by W3LL People Again. I love that it’s paraben free, chemical free, petroleum free and fragrance free. Also, the fact that it was not tested on animals is a huge plus for me. I would definitely recommend W3LL People Altruist Satin Mineral Foundation to anyone looking for a lightweight foundation.

Ingredients in W3LL People Altruist Mineral Foundation: Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Ultramarine Blue, Mica, Kaolin Clay, Seracita, Silica, Aloe Barbadenis, Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea)

Mary Ann, THANK YOU for the glowing Altruist Mineral Foundation review!
Our next generation mineral is built for performance and coverage while delivering a finish is weightless and seamless.

Getting used to loose mineral foundation takes some practice. Below are some simple suggestions for application.

    1. Less is more. Using your loose powder or kabuki brush, pick up a quarter sized amount of mineral at a time.

    2. Swirl your freshly powdered brush into the cap, truly allowing the mineral to settle into the brush.

    3. Using downward strokes, apply the Altruist Mineral Foundation to the complexion. Repeat this process until you have the coverage you like. *our 'peach fuzz' grows down. Let's not go against the grain! ...for once :)

Thank you for your review Mary Ann. I am no expert (and perhaps someone from W3LL will weigh in and help) but I have found that using the inside of the lid to tap away excess powder before brushing it on is helpful.
