About five years ago, I started to have dry scalp problems that would occur seasonally. I’ve tried many hair products since then to fight these annoying flakes, but none of them helped 100 percent. I was disappointed by dandruff shampoos from popular brands, such as Head & Shoulders, Garnier Fructis, Neutrogena, DHS, Avalon Organics and others. Some of them solved the issue only for couple of days; others didn’t work at all.

But then I got a chance to try The Seaweed Bath Co. Wildly Natural Seaweed Argan Shampoo - and I was blown away by the results. After the first two uses of this product, I immediately noticed that my scalp stopped itching and the flaking was reduced dramatically.

It took me four to five minutes to apply the product and massage it into my scalp, and then I usually waited another five to seven minutes before rinsing it out. It’s been a month since I started using this product, probably three to four times a week, and to be honest I never believed such a miracle product existed to treat itchy scalp! Afterward, I didn’t even need to use a hair conditioner - the Seaweed shampoo left my hair shiny and soft. It also gave my hair tons of volume.

There are many other things that I liked about this product. First of all, it has a nice texture. The shampoo is not too watery, and it has tiny particles that help you scrub your scalp properly. Secondly, the shampoo is unscented (though it does come in several herbal scents). I find this a huge plus because most of the products I tried before smelled pretty unpleasant.

One of the most important advantages of this product is that the Seaweed shampoo is made of 100 percent natural ingredients, or as the company calls them, “pure ingredients.” These include: Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) oil, Fucus vesiculosus (bladderwrack seaweed) extract, argan oil, Aloe barbadensis (aloe) and tocopherol (natural vitamin E). It is also free of parabens, dyes and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).

In conclusion, I strongly recommend the Wildly Natural Seaweed Shampoo from The Seaweed Bath Co. for men and women, as it truly lives up to its tagline: “fighting flaking and scaling skin, naturally.”

Ingredients: Aqua (water), decyl glucoside, Carthamus tinctorius (safflower) oil with Fucus vesiculosus (bladderwrack seaweed) extract, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, vegetable glycerin, Argania spinosa (argan) oil, dl-Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), Aloe barbadensis (aloe), Tocopherol (natural vitamin E), potassium sorbate, silver dihydrogen citrate, citric acid
