I received small bottles of Yarok Feed Your Volume Shampoo and Conditioner (from $33) at the beginning of March and started using them right away. The first thing I noticed is with the shampoo, there is not much lathering. I felt I wasn’t using enough shampoo, so I had to dispense more to feel as though my hair was clean. The conditioner had a good consistency. The directions said to leave it on from one to two minutes, though you could leave it on for up to 10 minutes for deep conditioning. I have very fine hair, so I opted to just go for one minute.

The scent of the shampoo was not very appealing. The conditioner was much better. The ingredients are very organic and have wonderful qualities for some people, but to be honest with the TIA community, these products are not for my hair. My hair was very flyaway afterward and had no volume at all. I thought maybe I was using too much of the product, so the next day I tried using less. I exercise every morning, so it is nearly impossible not to wash my hair every day. I got the same effect, plus my hair was extremely dry. I wanted to give it a hands-down wonderful review, but after using it for two weeks, my hair looked absolutely lifeless.

As I mentioned, my hair is very straight and fine, and I usually have a difficult time finding products that will give the volume without being too drying. I am not sure if two weeks is enough time to give this product, but I would not continue using it even if I had more of it. I do try to use products that are organic or at least don’t have harsh chemicals and such, but when you have fine hair a lot of the products that are good for your hair just don’t cut it. So in all fairness, these products are probably great for some of you, but for my hair they just didn’t work.

It is probably the tester and not the products that is having the trouble here. My experience has not been the best, but my search is still on for the perfect hair products for fine, straight hair.

Thank you for the opportunity, TIA community!

    Gloria,
my hair is very similar to your. Yarok made my hair lackluster and flat.
Rahua conditioner and John Masters Rosemary shampoo work wonders on my hair in terms of shine and nourishment.

Thank you for an objective review Gloria. While I like these products very much, my hair is very different from yours - wavy and thick.
