My thick curls have been high maintenance for as long as I can remember, but my biggest complaint is always the same: dryness. No matter the season, my hair is always thirsty for moisture. Luckily for me, after testing a new haircare product for TIA, my hair got some much needed nourishment.
I applied the recommended three drops of Yarok Feed Your Youth Hair and Scalp Serum ($26) to my hair while dry, and left it on for ten to twenty minutes. The product literature suggests adding heat, but for convenience sake, I skipped this step. After washing it out, I noticed an increase in softness and manageability, and a decrease in frizz. I wear my hair up frequently so the ends take a beating, but this serum seemed to help repair some of the damage.

Yarok Feed Your Youth Hair and Scalp Serum contains moisturizing avocado and apricot kernel to remove build-up. A stylist once warned me about dull hair caused by product build-up, which isn’t always seen by the naked eye. The serum did a good job of loosening it, and helped my hair gain a nice sheen. I expect that continued usage will improve its vibrancy as well. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone with dry, dull, or damaged hair.
