A multi-tasking, anti-aging serum for mature skin

My name is Sonja and I am 43 years old. I was lucky enough to be given the chance to try out a product and was sent a sample by  I am a cosmetic and skin care junkie and do a fair amount of reading on products and their ingredients. I would describe my skin as very fair and a bit translucent meaning that it is thin and there are a few veins that are visible on my face (both red capillaries and bluish larger veins). I have to be gentle with my skin for that reason as well as I have very mild Rosacea as well.  I can see effects of aging mostly under my chin and neck  area where I have noticed elasticity starting to go and one fairly deep laugh line. Also, I have always had a hollowing under my eyes (even in my baby pictures!) but that is of course, getting worse with age! So depressing!!!!  J

I was sent a serum from YBF (Your Best Face) Cosmetics called Control ($160 in the shop). This is basically a cream/serum for skin rejuvenation and definitely aimed at us “forty-somethings and older.”  I would say it is a multitasking cream giving your skin everything  it needs to repair itself from previous damage while also addressing the effects of aging that never end!  To be honest, the sample vial I was sent was very small and it only lasted me approximately two weeks and that was with me using very sparingly.  I normally would have been a bit more liberal with the application of it. Therefore, I can’t really say how well this works long term since I think to be fair, you would need to use it longer than two weeks for a fair assessment of its benefits.

The cream was yellowish-orange in color and smelled nice. Not overwhelming or anything……just a nice light scent.  The ingredients are quite impressive in my opinion.

This formula is power packed with loads of peptides and antioxidants that would surely produce results if given time!  It comes in an airless pump and from the looks of the packaging on the website, it looks like it is in a container that would keep the ingredients stable.

The only downside………yep, the price! $160. Ouch! So, in my opinion, if you can are willing to pay the price………this serum seems like it would be worth it to try for 90 days at the very least to see if you notice any improvements….(take pictures!!!!)
