I’ve had the pleasure of sampling the Your Best Face Refresh ($80) and Antioxidants Concentrate serum ($55 in the TIA shop) for the last four weeks. Just some background, I’m 49, have fair, sensitive skin, with rosacea.  I have some slight wrinkles around the eyes and forehead, but have always been careful to wear sunscreen, drink lots of water, eat well, exercise and I don’t smoke.  I’ve primarily been using Arcona products for the last eight months with great success in calming my skin, limiting breakouts and keeping wrinkles at bay.

Twice a day I’ve used the Refresh eye cream on my left eye area, and used L’Oreal Age Perfect Eye Cream ($15) on my right eye area.  After three weeks I can detect a minor improvement, with my wrinkles less deep on the Refresh eye than on the other side.  It’s almost like the wrinkles were air-brushed away.

The thing I didn’t like about the Refresh is that if I used too much it didn’t sink in. You really need to use a very small amount, as it’s very concentrated.  It did not make me break out and, if I didn’t use too much, and it sank in pretty quickly.  It did not interfere with my eye makeup or foundation, and didn’t leave a greasy feel. I liked the Refresh, but not sure if I’d purchase it for myself.

I used the Antioxidants Concentrate on the right side of my forehead, in addition to my usual Arcona routine.   I could not tell a difference in wrinkles or skin clarity. It did not cause me to break out, but honestly I have no need for it in my routine.
