Skin 2 Skin Care White Tea Face Wash

Size: 4 oz (133 ml)

Skin 2 Skin White Tea Face Wash lightly exfoliates to reveal softer, smoother, toned skin after every wash. Designed to gently yet thoroughly rinse away excess surface oils and impurities, it also removes makeup and mascara. White Tea Face Wash is pH balanced — thus eliminating the need for additional toners — to keep oiliness at bay without stripping skin of essential moisture. This natural cleanser gets great reviews and has been shown to deliver radiant results as promised.

White Tea Face Wash is formulated without sulfates or harsh chemicals and is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. It uses mild cleansing agents that are naturally-derived. The low-foam cleanser also contains powerful antioxidants (including standout white tea), natural astringents, glycerin to regulate moisture levels, and vitamin C to promote skin turnover and collagen production. Essential oils, such as neroli and jasmine, provide a refreshing scent for your sink time.

Tested for 30 days and recommended by Holly:

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone that tends to be dry and often patchy elsewhere. I also get predictable hormonal breakouts around the same time every month. My daily struggle is finding products that keep oiliness and blemishes at bay without over-drying or irritating my skin. I usually have to rotate between a few face washes — one with salicylic acid, a creamier cleanser and a gentle scrub — throughout the week to achieve this goal. But for the last couple of months, I have been using Skin 2 Skin White Tea Face Wash.

Skin 2 Skin White Tea Face Wash is a sulfate-free natural cleanser that is designed to remove oil, dirt and makeup from the surface while providing gentle exfoliation and balancing the skin’s pH. It contains a host of good-for-you ingredients to do so and uses mild cleansing agents that are all naturally-derived. Toward the top of the ingredient list you will find natural cleansing agents sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, a sodium salt of the coconut fatty acid amide ofN-methyltaurine, and sodium cocoyl isethionate, which is also based on fatty acids from coconut oil and a type of sulfonic acid. In addition, bergamot acts as a natural astringent and toner while vitamin C increases exfoliation and cell turnover.

Not only does White Tea Face Wash reveal fresh skin, it also fortifies that skin with essential vitamins and antioxidants. While white tea is the star, thanks to its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, there are 20 other botanical extracts, six essential oils and a handful of notable ingredients. Other powerful sources of antioxidants include green tea and rose hips. Aloe vera, cucumber and red clover are included to soothe the skin while ginseng has phytonutrients that help brighten and tone. Finally, a 10 percent concentration of glycerin helps regulate the skin’s moisture levels after cleansing.

What I noticed first about this cleanser was its cushiony texture. It creates a cloudlike lather when massaged onto skin that feels wonderfully soothing. This also makes it compatible with cleansing brushes like the Clarisonic or my go-to, the Foreo. Secondly, I became engrossed in the smell. White Tea Face Wash has a delicate citrus scent, which, to me, is very refreshing. It’s likely a result of the many essential oils, so it smells far from artificial and dissipates once you rinse.

Overall, I think this is a great cleanser. I like to use it some mornings as a pick-me-up and on alternating nights with my cleansing brush for an exfoliating boost. It thoroughly removes surface oil and makeup (including eye makeup) and leaves skin looking fresh and revitalized. Was it life changing on the blemish front? No, but I wasn’t really expecting it to be. However, White Tea Face Wash did a good job cleansing and balancing my combo skin without leaving it tight or dry. Plus, I was able to cut back on the amount of cleansers I rotate between thanks to the range of this formula.

58 with normal skin, discoloration, surface and deep wrinkles, sagging. I loved this product for the first month - pleasantly surprised that a foaming product did not irritate my skin. however, after three months, I find that my skin is irritated (red and dry) after using this product. On the plus side, it seems to really get the skin clean, and I didn't have to use an additional scrub for my thick skin. And the packaging is great! I love the rest of the product line -it could be that combining this wash plus either the 24/7 or the Photoaging Repair may be what is causing my unique sensitivity. I also don't rule out water quality or the fact that I'm getting older and hormones are changing, which can certainly be factors. This is just OK for me right now.
