Size: 0.5 oz (15 ml)
AQ Eye Serum effectively diminishes "crow's feet" wrinkles and fine lines, lightens and tightens the eye area with a concentrated formula of Matrixyl 3000 and Human Growth Factors. This non-greasy serum has a clean smell and will not clog pores.
Directions:
Apply to clean skin around the eye area in a circular motion, using gentle pressure, until the serum is absorbed. For optimum results, apply mornings and evenings
TIA Review by Marta:
I felt ready to write my review of AQ Skin Solutions Eye Serum about two weeks in. I knew it was going to be a winner. My under-eye area was looking smoother and the lids a little lifted - it even makes my eyelashes grow! Five weeks later (UPDATE: it remains part of my daily regimen), I was ready to pronounce it one of the best I have ever used. AQ's serum for the face is an impressively effective product and the Eye Serum is a totally worthy companion.
Of course, the key active is AQ's human fibroblast conditioned media. This contains growth factors - specifically, TGF-Beta, GM-CSF and PDGF. These signal the cells to do a myriad things, including repairing wounds, stimulating collagen and glycosaminoglycan production, and inhibiting matrix degradation. Growth factors are at the cutting edge of anti-aging skincare, but they are not the only potent actives in AQ's Eye Serum.
Two peptides that make up Matrixyl 3000 are here. This ingredient should be very complimentary to the growth factors as the peptides also encourage collagen synthesis. In addition, there are no less than three ingredients that are supposed to help depuff the eyes: dipeptide-2, which is supposed to improve lymphatic circulation, hesperidin methyl chalcone, which can help strengthen the capillaries, and N-hydroxysuccinimide, supposed to eliminate blood-originated pigments.
The skin around the eye may also be brightened by aminoethylphosphonic acid, which may inhibit melanin (although there is not much research that I could find to back this up), lactic acid and grapefruit extract.
AQ Eye Serum has a very light, gel-like consistency and I can't believe how far it goes. A tiny, pea-size pump does both eyes (under and upper, including the lid). I don't really suffer from dark under-eye circles and so can't testify to its effectiveness in that department, but I have it to be an excellent depuffer. Best of all is the skin tap test - when I gently tap my under-eye area with my finger, the skin feels firm and tight as a drum.
To all of those people who have emailed me recently to say that they love the results they are getting with AQ's face serum and have been dying to know what I think of the eye serum, here is the answer in a nutshell: highly recommended.

it's ok... it's better some a lot of other serums and creams i've tried. Yet i find it nothing super special. It does give you a nice tightening effect, but it's not that great of a moisturizer. I've used: la mer, la prairie, clinique, skinceuticals, origins and about 10 other brands over the last 3 years. I must say that i have not had "wow" this is it with any of it. I am in my late 20s and i have tiny crow feet that about to become not so tiny, as i'm super fair complexion - so every tiny wrinkle just shows. I was very impressed with AQ concentrated serum (can't stand the price $300!! and for the full disclosure it was J•bio™ - which is the white-label for AQ serum according to AQ founder i spoke with about it) - that one i applied around my eye area for 1 week and boom - my crow feet were gone! it was that i can't believe my eye effect - did i get botox or serum can do this for real? type of situation :) - but when i bought a more reasonably priced version (that is eye serum) - the effect was not that greater from a lot of other high-end creams/ serums. just keep in mind - i don't have ANY deep eye wrinkles, only minor crown feet and lots of smile related "wrinkles" - which were drastically diminished with concentrated serum. at $99 price is better than lets say la prairie - but i honestly don't feel that serum is enough moisture for me - so i am testing Valmont eye cream now - which i use on top of AQ eye serum - it's been only 2days - will update the post in few weeks!

I'd love to try AQ Eye Serum as it sounds like AQ might be even better than *gasp!* YBF Correct. Could it be true?

Hi Victoria,
Yes, when you use AQ, it is safe to put right on your lashline, and on your brows as well.

Hi Dilemma, I just want to mention that AQ is not based on a growth hormone. This is not a hormone based active, but a protein. Growth factors such as this really need something to repair, so unless you have deep wrinkles it isn't really appropriate for a 28 year old. I would strongly recommend an antioxidant based eye cream that has been formulated for prevention such as Your Best Face Refresh:

I can't seem to decide between this and Elite eye serum. Elite has a lot of good things going for it, whereas this has the growth hormone ingredient I'm really intrigued by. Which would you recommend for a 28 year old?

For those people who are reporting eyelash growth...are you using the serum right along your upper lid close to the lashes? I've been using it for a while, and also love it, but I don't put it right up next to my lash line. Should I be? Thanks for any input!

I can vouch for the eyelashes-I use it at night and in just over a week I can see eyelash growth. It is the real deal. I have tried CodeEi and Hydropeptide with no results at all after weeks...but this is really worthwhile. I could have ordered the eyelash one but this was cheaper. Is there any difference Marta?

Okay. Let me say this. I did NOT want to like this product or find it to be effective. It IS EFFECTIVE -- very VERY effective. However, that does not mean it's perfect and though I have, indeed, re-ordered it, there are two problems. I find it does not work well under concealer in the morning. It causes the make up to bead-up -- and, yes, the concealer is quite emollient and has not happened previously to using this serum. The other issue is that I find the packaging to be really problematic. I had thought I'd run out of my first bottle -- which surprised me as it was only after about 3 weeks (though, yes, I use it morning and night...but still.) I just discovered that the pump seems not to work and there was plenty of the product still in the bottle. But for nearly $100.00, that really shouldn't happen -- not to mention I wonder if the product will be compromised by unscrewing the top to use it twice a day. I wonder if anyone else has had that issue and what other people are finding in terms of daytime use. But, to be clear -- BIG difference with find lines, no question about it. (And, as everyone else has mentioned, eyelashes are re-appearing! A miracle!)

I'm still new to the product but so far so good! One question: Do I need to wear an eye moisturizer over the serum ? If so, would you recommend one that compliments the aq serum?
Thank you!

I am about 3 weeks in, using this only at night as I am exceptionally dry in my under eye area, and using a balm during the day. Laugh lines are massively reduced, eye area is lifted and amazingly my eyelashes seem thicker. Devoted to this product.

I have used many eye serums and creams and AQ is the best I have used. It is well worth the money you spend and I have had several people ask me if I have had “some work” done. When I tell them what I am using they don’t believe me. The bonus is my sparce eyelashes appear to be getting longer and thicker. I received my samples in my Discover box and will hang on to them in case I run out or for traveling. A little goes a long way. I just don’t think I will ever use anything else now.

I purchased the AQ eye serum just before leaving for a 5 week trip to Europe. I loved how my eyes looked throughout my trip! Normally my skin takes a beating whenever I leave home, but AQ kept my eyelids hydrated and the creepiness that I have been noticing disappeared. I can’t wait to compare this to the YBF Correct which has been sitting in my wish list forever.

After using the eye serum for a year, I stopped using under-eye concealer altogether. The skin beneath my eyes is firm and bright.

In addition to being a great, smoothing and firming eye serum, this makes your eyelashes grow. True story! Just using it as a regular eye cream, and my eyelashes are much longer and darker.
