Sevani Ageless Radiance Refining AHA Cleanser

Sevani Ageless Radiance Refining AHA Cleanser is an exfoliating cleanser with sugar cane derived glycolic acid and willow bark. Botanical antioxidants contribute to the health of the complexion. Suitable for normal, combination or oily skin. It may not be suitable for those with extremely dry or sensitive skin. Chemical free and not tested on animals.
Directions:
Massage into skin gently using circular motions for 60 seconds. Remove with lukewarm water. To use as a mask, twice weekly, apply to cleansed skin by massaging gently. Leave on skin surface for 15-20 minutes. Remove with lukewarm water or a dampened cloth.

Finding the right facial cleanser (that is, one that cleanses without dehydrating) has always been a challenge for me. Living Nature's fabulously soothing Vitalising Cleanser was the lone exception- until now. Sevani Botanica creates chemical free- and effective- anti-aging skincare products that have received lots of love from Marta as well as members of the Truth in Aging community. I recently had the chance to test Sevani's Ageless Radiance Refining AHA Cleanser - and now I get it. This product was an absolute pleasure to use! The first time I applied the creamy cleanser, while in the shower, I was immediately struck by the citrusy aroma. It smelled as if I were actually peeling an orange. This comes courtesy of orange fruit and lemon extracts.
Of course it gets better. The cleanser did a great job of removing oil and makeup. However, I did follow up with a toner, as recommended, to remove any stubborn residue. Afterward, my combination skin looked and felt soft and smooth. Since using the cleanser, I've also seen a noticeable reduction in the hormonal breakouts my 30-something skin sometimes gets. I could attribute this to anti-inflammatories, such as willow bark extract (which contains salicylic acid) and gotu kola extract. The formula also contains potent antioxidants algae extract, pomegranate extract, and red tea leaf extract. Furthermore, the high vitamin C content helps fight free radicals and promotes collagen production.
As a bonus, this product multitasks as a face mask, which makes sense since it contains a good amount of fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids). The directions are to use twice weekly by massaging the product onto cleansed skin and letting it absorb from 15 to 20 minutes. I put this to the test and found that my skin actually did look brighter afterward yet not quite as hydrated as when I used the product as a cleanser. Which is probably why the directions do say to complete the regimen with moisturizer.
Overall, I was pleased enough with this product to want to create a permanent place for it in my bathroom cabinet.

This is an amazing cleanser. I have been using it along with three other Sevani products. My next to try is the eye treatment. Somehow, one of the four Sevani products or maybe a combination of all four have gotten rid of the bags and dark circles under my eyes. My complexion is now glowing! Thank you for offering such amazing products on TIA.
